Resume Keyword Match Scanner
Paste the job post and your resume. It runs both through the same keyword logic an ATS uses, then hands you a pass/fail report — like a test suite, but for whether your resume gets past the bots.
How this actually works
Most ATS platforms (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS) don’t “read” a resume the way a person does — they parse it into plain text, then rank or filter candidates by how many of the job post’s key terms show up in that text. This scanner mirrors that first pass: it isn’t a hiring decision, it’s the keyword gate a human recruiter never has to think about because the software already ran it.
Extraction
Pulls the significant nouns, skills, tools, and qualification phrases out of the job post and drops filler words (the, and, will, etc.).
Weighting
Terms that repeat across the post, or sit in “requirements”/”qualifications” language, get weighted higher — same as how ATS relevance scoring tends to work.
Matching
Checks your resume for each term and its common variants (managed / management / manage), not just an exact string match.
Reporting
Shows you exactly what’s missing and why it matters, so you edit with intent instead of stuffing keywords blindly.
